The Apprenticeship Completion Grant encourages apprentices to finish their training, receive journeyperson certification in designated Red Seal trades and launch rewarding careers in the skilled trades.
The Apprenticeship Completion Grant is a $2,000 taxable cash grant available to registered apprentices who successfully complete their apprenticeship training and obtain journeyperson certification in a designated Red Seal trade.
Through the Apprenticeship Completion Grant and the Apprenticeship Incentive Grant, apprentices can receive up to $4,000. The money can be used to buy tools, travel for training, or cover other expenses.

Note: The federal government eventually intends to make a Red Seal endorsement an eligibility requirement for the Apprenticeship Completion Grant. The Government is working with provinces and territories that do not use or promote the Red Seal endorsement to determine the barriers to its use and to develop solutions.
