Elder Abuse Awareness Funding

Horizons for Seniors

Elder Abuse Awareness Funding provides contribution funding to help non-profit organizations develop national, provincial/territorial, or regional awareness activities for seniors, their families, and service providers in order to help prevent the abuse of older adults.

Abuse can take many forms, including physical, psychological, emotional, verbal, or financial abuse as well as neglect or denial of entitlements protected by law. Elder Abuse Awareness Funding is intended to help communities address this issue.
